I am not here to support his views or campaign his thoughts but I just wanted to make some misconceptions (which were especially made by Hindi and English channels) straight.
1. Raj Thackeray is against North Indians
North India includes Punjab, Rajasthan, Haryana, West Bengal and Seven sisters other than UP-Bihar. He is against those who have immigrated from Bihar over here and are not accepting the culture but doing dadagiri and gundagardi. His MNVahatukSena has 15% people from North India….including 2 vice presidents. When asked to his one president (Mr. Sahani) he replied that MNS has done ‘no’ activities against north Indians in general and the fact that the press has hyped up the issue.
2. Raj Thackeray wants all people in Maharashtra to speak only in Marathi and speaking in Hindi according to him is not allowed
He has asked all people in Maharashtra to respect the language and not in any means force the language to speak. He has no problems in speaking in Hindi as long as you respect Marathi.
3. MNS has damaged crores of property and damages thousands of vehicles in violence, they have injured thousands
According to cold blooded facts they have 5 taxis broken with damage done worth not even in 7 digits. None of the people have been injured and none even needed hospitalization.
4. Other shocking facts
MNS presidents, VP : A.Quereshi, Shirish Parkar, Mrs. Shukla(head of womens wing), Mr Shahani all are non-maharashtrian
Another shocking revelation….even I am not originally a maharashtrian, I hail from Karnataka (village Hudli from district Hubli-Dharwad). But living in maharashtra I have converted myself as a complete Maharashtrian, so even I just like Raj, say Jai Hind before Jai Maharashtra…!

OH WOW! WHO THE FUCK is he to tell us to respect Marathi? And HOW do you respect Marathi? Ok I will refuse to speak in Marathi because I have the free will do I still respect Marathi? How do you respect any language if you don't speak it? And of course, how did the poor taxi drivers who did not speak marathi offend the language? Why were they beaten up? And finally, WHO doesn't respect Marathi? Has anyone ever mentioned in public that Marathi sucks (pardon me Mr.Raj) or has taken out a campaign against it? I haven't seen anything like that and even if someone has, who is RAJ to decide if its an insult or not? What are the courts for? Why can't he file a PIL? WHy the FUCK is he creating furore and all this brouhaha?

First of all, I have never come across this piece of info other than your blog. Ok so the loss was not even in 7 digits! Great! Next time I will come to your house and break your TV. I think that will be a loss not even in 5 digits! Will that be acceptable to you? Think! Even so much as taking the names of such goons is a great step towarsds establishing their power. Do you want that?
4.Other shocking facts
For all one knows, this could be an act of publicity and even if it isn't, I have an explanation. Everyone values talent and so Raj has inducted talented people into his committee. Whats so shocking about it? Plus, none of them are Bihari, they are simply Non-Maharashtrians and just as YOU have mentioned, RAJ isn't averse to them, so whats the big surprise in their appointment?
And Lastly, why are YOU trying to clear things for Raj if you don't support him? How does it help your readers? Would you have done the same if it were Rahul Gandhi who was being misrepresented?

I am not against RAJ per se (seriously, in fact I am a fan of his oratory skills!), his sentiments for the upliftment of Maharashtra is very good and even his stance against immigration to Mumbai is good. But I am definitely against his policy of letting his supporters run amuck and wreak havoc when he CAN use them for constructive work. He should educate Maharashtrians to make them competent rather than try to drive away competition.
Please drop this Raj favourism (Don't deny this, its crystal clear and don't say that this is because he is anti-congress, because you never know when he might shift loyalties). Its a pathetic blotch on your otherwise good blog.
Maintain your Neutrality and Check the facts. Although Indian Media is known to exaggerate facts, they have a subtle way of doing it. You have quoted above their unwritten limit. Don't misrepresent data, it will tarnish the image of your blog.
